The crowd of 38734 turning up at FC Wiinikka Suzuki Arena today were greeted with some nasty showers of rain. Włodkowski, but the Wiinikka player managed to shrug them off and fired a low shot past the keeper to give his team the lead. 1 - 0! With 6 minutes played, Wiinikka's F. Pugačiauskas almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. Things were deteriorating for the away team as Wiinikka scored another to make it 2 - 0 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for L. Nikku after 18 minutes. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Wiinikka claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 65 percent.

İ. Orak unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. In an effort to secure the lead, Wiinikka changed their tactic after 60 minutes. Cheers filled the stadium as İ. Orak broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Wiinikka. Confident in their lead, Wiinikka's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 80 minutes played, the tuning coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. V. Pärn came on, J. Loikala had to leave the fray. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Mangano got himself booked. The manager of Wiinikka was not happy. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. L. Majaniemi squirmed through their central defence after 82 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 0. Wiinikka solidified their lead at the 84 minute mark, as M. Włodkowski dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 5 - 0. İ. Orak's experience almost gave Wiinikka a goal after 86 minutes but the keeper made a great save. Wiinikka enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.

The most dominating Wiinikka player was without a doubt M. Włodkowski. On the other hand, I. Goulet's play was disheartening. F. Den Haerynck performed admirably for tuning. S. Schleevogt turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
