At this point, it was obvious that the players of FCLL lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. FCLL solidified their lead at the 43 minute mark, as V. Carlsson dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 3 - 0. 3 - 0 was the score after the first half. FCLL had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

The coach of FCLL was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 50 minutes, A. Ojala came on for M. Vesslin. FCLL's P. Hietamies struck his penalty well enough to beat the goalkeeper and extend the home team's lead to 4 - 0 after 50 minutes. FCLL managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when J. Rasi cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in FCLL's J. Metsäketo increasing the lead to 6 - 0. P. Hietamies wanted to play on, but the FCLL coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 77 minutes into the game by A. Blomqvist. V. Carlsson became the new FCLL captain. P. Högmander was caught napping as J. Piippolainen lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by FCLL, with 60 percent of the ball.

T. Raivio performed admirably for FCLL. I. Valppu turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating tykitys player was without a doubt S. Garlinger. P. Högmander on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 6 - 0.
