Dark skies made the crowd of 26733 at eagle´s eyrie a little nervous, but the rain held off. Marco Napoli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Pablo Pastelero and Eugeniu Mustatã. Aquila had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. Lineup: Badillo - Heigel, Rodsen, Ben Dhifallah, Gripenman - Godínez, Richter, Kimose, Dekker - Nuutti, Christiansson.

C. Ekiert's early cross saw the defenders caught out of position and the alert Ş. Raţiu was able to pounce and roll the ball past the hapless goalkeeper to score for Nolife. 0 - 1. Gripenman maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. Aquila fans held their breath as F. Dekker scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Aquila to 3 - 1 as F. Dekker finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Halftime score was 3 - 1. Possession in this half belonged to Aquila, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

The referee showed Nolife's T. Silva the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. K. Rodsen of Aquila had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. D. Wattenhofer came in to finish the match. L. Godínez wanted to play on, but the Aquila coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 60 minutes into the game by J. Lötjönen. Nolife's M. Tetiorka was able to reply, after 61 minutes, making the score 3 - 2 with a well struck penalty. Things were going to get worse for the visitors. V. Richter squirmed through their central defence after 63 minutes, increasing the lead to 4 - 2. L. Gripenman increased the lead for Aquila to 5 - 2, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! Aquila's F. Dekker got himself booked for a foul. A bit later, Nolife's Ş. Raţiu easily reduced the lead to 5 - 3 after a misunderstanding in the home side's central defence. Aquila increased the lead as D. Christiansson struck to make the score 6 - 3 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Aquila lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Aquila, with 60 percent of the ball.

Aquila's top performer was clearly D. Christiansson. J. Lötjönen turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating Nolife player was without a doubt Ş. Raţiu. However, C. Ekiert made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 6 - 3.
