Clear skies welcomed the 27722 spectators who had made their way to Kannelmäen stadion. Guido Galfrè was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Fábio Guerra and Bonifaciu Borat. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, T. Arvinen got himself booked. The manager of ACLaaminki was not happy. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 63 minutes into the match, and M. Solin wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. With 73 minutes played, T. Kärki nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. D. Kasalović wanted to play on, but the ACLaaminki coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 74 minutes into the game by M. Ojaniemi. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ACLaaminki, with 53 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Kannelmäen player was without a doubt M. Raifi. F. Henk was a disappointment, however. M. Solin performed admirably for ACLaaminki. On the other hand, M. Sava's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 1.
