Due to an all-day shower, 12000 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Pohjola stadion. Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for GooTeePee. After 3 minutes, GooTeePee's H. Haverila made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. After 11 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave E. Bockelberg a chance to increase the lead for GooTeePee, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of GooTeePee lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. The GooTeePee free kick 23 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of E. Baysal, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 0 - 3! GooTeePee's K. Mpasinas placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but M. Nurmiranta couldn't finish. A penalty was awarded after 27 minutes, and E. Bockelberg made the most of his chance to put GooTeePee up by another goal. 0 - 4 for the visitors. F. Panico increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. It was 0 - 5 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to GooTeePee, who controlled the ball 78 percent of the time.

With 57 minutes played, GooTeePee put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Niininen. Some fine movement on the left led to a GooTeePee goal after 60 minutes, making it 0 - 7. E. Bockelberg was noted down as the scorer. This third goal completed a hattrick for E. Bockelberg. With 64 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed H. Haverila of GooTeePee to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 8. The game was characterised by rough play and many physical challenges on the wet field, but D. Bast showed great heart and had a good game. 74 minutes into the game a free kick by E. Bockelberg found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making GooTeePee's lead 0 - 9. After 77 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for E. Baysal who increased GooTeePee's lead to 0 - 10. With 80 minutes played, K. Juurikivi of RollenPS fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by GooTeePee, with 80 percent of the ball.

Most important RollenPS player was A. Brotherus. O. Ojaniemi on the other hand, had a terrible day. J. Viholainen performed admirably for GooTeePee. H. Haverila was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 10.
