Maglio and he was marked down for the hat trick. The players of Banchen now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. T. Gelberg had a fantastic opportunity to put Banchen up another goal 41 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. It was 3 - 0 at the break. Banchen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 71 percent of possession.

Banchen's A. Haun got himself booked for a foul. The corner kick from E. Maglio was powerfully met by the head of A. Haun to make the score 4 - 0. After 76 minutes kaapo tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, T. Godborg's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Against a lesser team, Banchen could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 80 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save. L. Velasquez wasn't much help defensively. His energy-consuming forward runs proved quite costly in the oppressive heat.
