That was far too lenient! After 38 minutes, Kumianpään put themselves up 0 - 1, as J. Moilasheimo finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. Kumianpään's A. Luokkanen made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 39 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. The home crowd was not impressed when J. Moilasheimo came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 40 minutes. Kumianpään were now up 0 - 2. Kumianpään's H. Rasila got himself booked for a foul. In a fantastic display of determination, Blackliver's J. Deloach forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down. A late sliding challenge from H. Rasila was deemed to be his second yellow card offence by the referee, resulting in him being sent off, and Kumianpään left a man down. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, N. Niiranen would have put Kumianpään up another goal 44 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. 44 minutes in, Kumianpään's J. Moilasheimo received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Kumianpään claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 51 percent.

A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from L. Aallosvirta after 47 minutes, and prevented Kumianpään from going up another goal. 52 minutes into the match, Blackliver's N. Iacomino collected a ball sent down the right and put it in the back of the net, narrowing the score to 1 - 2. With the scoreboard showing that 54 minutes had been played, Kumianpään nearly put themselves up another goal after J. Moilasheimo came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. 56 minutes into the game, K. Wawrzynowicz had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came K. Öğünç. Blackliver's C. Waite was shown a yellow card after 59 minutes for slicing down an opponent. S. Gnesutta left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 66 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. J. Hannola was the replacement. The coach of Kumianpään was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 67 minutes, C. Vehmas came on for L. Aallosvirta. The home crowd cheered when, after 68 minutes, M. Hietala's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. J. Moilasheimo dispatched a majestic long shot 73 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. Possession in this half belonged to Blackliver, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The most dominating Blackliver player was without a doubt H. Wittelsbach. K. Öğünç on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Kumianpään player was M. Kangasniemi. However, C. Vehmas made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 2.
