Fernández Chicharro finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. The crowd was on its feet 24 minutes into the match, as kannukset's P. Ranta-Pere found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 1 - 1 equaliser. 1 - 2 was the score with 29 minutes played, after P. Bozóky cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for HöPS. After 31 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by kannukset was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options. A drive down the left side allowed R. Mourão to get in close and score another goal for HöPS after 35 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 3. It was 1 - 3 at the break. kannukset had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

M. Zdrada dispatched a majestic long shot 48 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres. HöPS increased their lead after 59 minutes when P. Bozóky broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. The players of HöPS now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. kannukset's fans were urging them forward as they tried to get back into the game, and their vocal support was rewarded 63 minutes into the match as S. Castro ran onto a beautiful ball played through the visitors' defence and slotted it past the keeper to reduce the deficit. 2 - 4. C. Benosmane of HöPS took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 66 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 2 - 5. A marvellous kannukset effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 68 minutes by J. Vesamäki, making the score 3 - 5. After 69 minutes, HöPS's S. Raatikka fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! kannukset enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.
