20124 spectators arrived at Palestiinan Hornankattila, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Fabian Gstrein was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Orlando Andrés Obregón and Yaroslav Potashev. Rollers decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Palokka tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded: Veini - Lozardo, Radović, Lisavets - Agnelli, Derov, Benroth, Lammas - Falkowski, Soeteman, Icis.

Palokka mostly ignored the flanks in favour of their ability to attack in the middle. Rollers took the lead 10 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as H. Alhanen elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Rollers's J. Palkén somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for A. Ivonen, who struck for 2 - 0. A. Ivonen's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 21 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to H. Alhanen who knocked it in for Rollers. 3 - 0! After 22 minutes, J. Palkén put Rollers ahead 4 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Rollers lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 31 minutes into the match T. Valjus put Rollers ahead 5 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, A. Lisavets got himself booked. The manager of Palokka was not happy. S. Veini was caught napping as T. Valjus lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. A. Lisavets nearly reduced the lead 39 minutes into the game, but a splendid one-handed save by C. Riera prevented the attempt coming in from the right flank from hitting the back of the net. It was 5 - 0 at the break. Rollers enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

57 minutes into the game, Rollers were awarded a penalty that T. Valjus turned into 6 - 0 without a problem. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Palokka's A. Lisavets was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 62 minutes. A. Tänav was given a chance to change things around. With 65 minutes played, the Palokka coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. G. Kreher came on, M. Benroth had to leave the fray. The Palokka captaincy was handed to R. Derov. After 72 minutes Palokka's K. Lammas contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. M. Jonasson increased the lead for Rollers to 7 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it! With 81 minutes played, H. Alhanen of Rollers fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Rollers had most of the ball, with 57 percent of possession.

Rollers's top performer was clearly H. Alhanen. M. Jonasson was a disappointment, however. Most important Palokka player was G. Soeteman. However, S. Veini made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 7 - 0.
