Mätky 7 - 0 He-Man
(385579990)

30-06-2012 20.10
A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 27020 to
Mustikka Arena.
Bart van Grunsven was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Manuel Bonetti and
Milen Novachev.
Mätky tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players took the field: Munk Jensen - Ben, Morar, Brinch, Mattes - Carrillo, Quail, Carles, bin Salleh - Pepino, Tunks.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for He-Man.
They fielded: Kleinhenz - Correia, Bongiovanni, Mimbela - Veikkola, Skovsen, Starace, Ojalehto, Wanders - Bonke, Horstink.
He-Man immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents.
Mätky took the lead 2 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as
A. Pepino elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
L. Correia of He-Man received a yellow card after 9 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
N. Brinch enjoyed the sunshine and demonstrated his stunning technique over and over again.
Mätky managed to extend their lead to 2 - 0 when
A. Pepino cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Mätky to 3 - 0 as
A. Pepino finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
A. Pepino.
Confident in their lead, Mätky's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
A. Mimbela received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 39 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
Mätky solidified their lead at the 40 minute mark, as
A. Pepino dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0.
Halftime score was 4 - 0.
Mätky had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.
N. Brinch increased the lead for Mätky to 5 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
R. Bongiovanni of He-Man was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 64 minute mark, He-Man's
A. Mimbela hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs
J. Veikkola found it hard to get back into position.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Mätky's
I. Carles increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
Coming from the right,
M. Mattes almost managed to score another goal for Mätky, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper.
Mätky increased the lead as
J. Tunks struck to make the score 7 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Mätky claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.
The most dominating Mätky player was without a doubt
A. Pepino.
M. Quail turned in a dismal performance, however.
J. Skovsen performed admirably for He-Man.
On the other hand,
R. Bongiovanni's play was disheartening.
The match ends 7 - 0.
