Gachon has the wonderful ability to create chances out of thin air. 11 minutes into the match he bamboozled a couple of opposition defenders before sending the keeper the wrong way and sidefooting the ball home into an empty net. That totally unexpected burst of flair made it 1 - 0. The crowd was amused as N. Albin of barcenal used a few interesting tricks and dribbles to get into the penalty box. The finish by S. Haliwa wasn't very amusing, however, as the ball flew way over the crossbar. R. Durastante could have put ZombieTeam up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 24 minutes. 26 minutes in, barcenal's Y. Bessembinders received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. ZombieTeam were forced into a substitution as R. Delandre couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing S. Guerdener to come in off the bench. After 32 minutes, the visitors tied it up at 1 - 1 when a fantastic pass from the left was finished off by A. Ben Mrad. barcenal took the lead after 33 minutes making the score 1 - 2. S. Haliwa placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. ZombieTeam's J. Caizergues's long shot really ought to have found the net 35 minutes into the match, but it fell just wide of the target. The crowd was on its feet 39 minutes into the match, as ZombieTeam's P. Mousset found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 2 - 2 equaliser. 2 - 2 was the halftime score. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why M. Hansson found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. They were singing the praises of P. Mousset 58 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 3 - 2 to ZombieTeam. With 64 minutes played, ZombieTeam's F. Gachon almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net. After 70 minutes, the visitors levelled the scores after A. Lassen made it through the middle and struck home to make it 3 - 3. 76 minutes in, the referee awarded ZombieTeam a penalty. P. Mousset coolly slotted it home for a 4 - 3 lead. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for P. Mousset. Y. Bessembinders knew he was in trouble after hacking down an opponent. Despite his pleading with the referee, the barcenal player was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from the game. Given a free kick close to the byline, ZombieTeam tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let D. Jacquemet slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 5 - 3, 86 minutes into the game. Possession in this half belonged to ZombieTeam, who controlled the ball 53 percent of the time.

Most important ZombieTeam player was P. Mousset. S. Guerdener turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating barcenal player was without a doubt S. Haliwa. On the other hand, A. Ben Mrad's play was disheartening. The match ends 5 - 3.
