Marty was able to score the 1 - 1 equaliser with a header 22 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. What ever got into D. Gloanec, the crowd mumbled, as he suddenly struck a cross pass through his own defence - ending up right in front of Figgest's R. Calzadilla, who easily put the ball away for 2 - 1 after 38 minutes. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 39 minutes, P. Marty broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. S. Sellami made a great block, though. 41 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 2 - 2 as J. Demay struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. The terraces were silenced after 42 minutes when Léna's Z. Gabsi put the guests ahead 2 - 3, following an attack on the right. Halftime score was 2 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Léna, with 74 percent of the ball.

The Léna players could smell victory in the air. J. Meyer wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for J. Fernandez after 50 minutes. Figgest's R. Calzadilla made an attempt at equalising 63 minutes into the match, coming in from the right, but the ball hit the post and the defence easily cleared the rebound. Léna increased their lead after 69 minutes when Y. Massy broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay. Léna's J. Demay made it through the home team's defence on the right hand side 72 minutes into the match. After rounding the keeper, he only had to place the ball in the unguarded goal when a defender slid in and cleared the ball off the line. Figgest's R. Eyraud got himself booked for a foul. 75 minutes into the match, Léna's Z. Gabsi demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to J. Demay who chipped it in for 2 - 5. By now, the players in Léna felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. The referee showed Figgest's N. Cadic the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Léna were forced into a substitution as J. Fernandez couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing A. Flamant to come in off the bench. S. Sellami got a fingertip on D. Gloanec's shot from the left 87 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Possession in this half belonged to Léna, who controlled the ball 77 percent of the time.

Figgest's top performer was clearly J. Iltanen. R. Eyraud was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Léna player was without a doubt Z. Gabsi. A. Flamant on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 2 - 5.
