A review of the gameplan helped Saint-Cannat get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Piriou a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Saint-Cannat seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. 72 minutes into the game Saint-Cannat managed a counterattack, but M. Busch took a soft shot from the left flank that was easy prey for the alert keeper. After 75 minutes of game time, T. Davidsen had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but D. Boileau was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. 84 minutes into the match, W. Bornhöved came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Maurs had most of the ball, with 60 percent of possession.

Saint-Cannat's best player was M. Busch. However, J. Piriou made a disastrous appearance. Most important Maurs player was J. Motta. W. Bornhöved was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
