De Maeyer to score for Gouiz. The scoreboard now read 1 - 2. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, G. Pichler got himself booked. The manager of Gouiz was not happy. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Gouiz, with 52 percent of the ball.

G. Paradís of Catalunia received a yellow card after 51 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Catalunia's E. Ivanov was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - T. Macyszyn managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 1 - 3 after 62 minutes. O. Mathiasson was, after 66 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper M. Taurinen made the save. Catalunia's O. Johannessen cut towards the middle after 70 minutes, receiving a brilliant pass and slicing through the visiting team's central defence, reducing the lead to 2 - 3. 71 minutes into the match, P. De Maeyer came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The crowd was on its feet 72 minutes into the match, as Catalunia's M. Nazif found himself unmarked in front of the goal after a dash up the left side. He calmly put away the 3 - 3 equaliser. Gouiz had most of the ball, with 52 percent of possession.

Catalunia's top performer was clearly M. Nazif. On the other hand, B. Berrozo's play was disheartening. Gouiz's best player was T. Macyszyn. N. Ivanov was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 3.
