Hervy, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing. B. Mony didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. With 19 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after J. Dehedin came through the middle, but his kick went wide. 25 minutes in, LAGLA's J. Malard received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. C. Jennequin spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. 30 minutes into the game, LAGLA had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to solid. G. Macina was struggling to make the ball dance with his usual trickery and panache, and the opposing players had little trouble shutting him down in these muddy conditions. liverpaul23 nearly produced a goal as M. Pons set up J. Batard for a strike from a seemingly impossible angle. However he put the shot narrowly wide. LAGLA's C. Del Álamo increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 34 minutes. The players of LAGLA now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The visitors replied 36 minutes into the game, reducing the home side's lead to 2 - 1, as G. Lhermite dashed up the middle, easily lobbing the ball over the home team's keeper. It was 2 - 1 at the break. Possession of the ball saw an equal split between the teams during the forty-five minutes.

Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of LAGLA was able to get his message across, and raised LAGLA's organisation to solid. Coming through the middle M. Pons almost scored the equaliser for liverpaul23 after 53 minutes, but E. Buchwieser made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. 57 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as N. Cibuļskis broke through, making the score 3 - 1 for LAGLA. liverpaul23 kept trying to force their way through on the right side and T. Deloffre got his chance after 61 minutes, but the home side's defence held their position and stopped the attack. 63 minutes in, LAGLA appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only passable. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 67 minutes, LAGLA tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. K. Czarnik wanted to play on, but the LAGLA coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 84 minutes into the game by I.
