A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 24287 to
DRAGON ARENA.
Ravid Azrieli was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
János Gregor and
Epi Wiewel.
PORTO decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Widjanarko - Toma, Jakubička, Sevilla Lara - Passe, Streeter, Ortega, Cruz, Michalon - Jazvić, Colip.
Olivierfoot had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players had been chosen: Lucas - Cambray, Rameau, Panier, Rat - Quettier, Petit, René, Giraud - Pointet, Le Floch.
PORTO took the lead 1 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as
G. Cruz elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar.
PORTO's
P. Passe increased the lead to 2 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 10 minutes.
13 minutes in, Olivierfoot appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only
solid.
23 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
G. Cruz broke through, making the score 3 - 0 for PORTO.
J. Ortega increased PORTO's lead to 4 - 0 with a penalty spot cannonball.
PORTO managed to extend their lead to 5 - 0 when
B. Jazvić cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
By now, the players in PORTO felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
5 - 0 was the score after the first half.
PORTO had most of the ball, with 90 percent of possession.
The Olivierfoot players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a
solid organisation when the game started again.
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
P. Passe squirmed through their central defence after 57 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
The sun seemed to put
J. Ortega in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long.
PORTO solidified their lead at the 63 minute mark, as
B. Jazvić dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 7 - 0.
PORTO were given a gift! The ref dubiously awarded them a penalty 69 minutes into the match, which was neatly put away by
J. Ortega. 8 - 0 for the home side.
PORTO increased the lead as
J. Ortega struck to make the score 9 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
That made three goals for
J. Ortega and he was marked down for the hat trick.
75 minutes in, Olivierfoot's
M. Le Floch received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
After 79 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Olivierfoot found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to
inadequate.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in PORTO's
T. Sevilla Lara increasing the lead to 10 - 0.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by PORTO, with 93 percent of the ball.
PORTO's top performer was clearly
Q. Colip.
On the other hand,
P. Passe's play was disheartening.
Most important Olivierfoot player was
K. Pointet.
P. Lucas on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 10 - 0.
