Clear skies welcomed the 28809 spectators who had made their way to

Jérôme Panier was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Calvin Elias Perian and
Volkhard Hösel-Wechner.

Pays-de-la-Loire had joined up for the derby.
Chouans decided to use a 5-3-2 set up.
They fielded: Homo - Lévy, Stejar, Siler, Leleu, Kunda - Milleville, Lachaux, Bossard - Rolli, Goblet.

After 28 minutes, Chouans sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
E. Rolli, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0.
The players of Chouans now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
E. Rolli should probably have put his team up another goal after 34 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
J. Moutinho kept the visitors in the game.
2 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Chouans claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.
Chouans had a magnificent opportunity after 50 minutes as
D. Stejar hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide.
With 51 minutes gone,
F. de Wever suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by Fcna caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring.
Cheers filled the stadium as
A. Lévy broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Chouans.
Chouans's
C. Goblet refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 81 minutes.
Chouans enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 69 percent of possession.
Most important Chouans player was
G. Homo.
On the other hand,
K. Leleu's play was disheartening.
Fcna's top performer was clearly
B. Deletraz.
F. de Wever on the other hand, had a terrible day.
The match ends 3 - 0.
