Blog looked great 13 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' R. Maschlanka. Desportivo's A. Zdonek tried to break through in the middle repeatedly, but couldn't get past the visitors' defenders. The boggy pitch disrupted the game, especially for technical players like E. Wuidar. Chartrettois's R. Borgdorff got himself booked for a foul. A. Freyth of Desportivo had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. C. Oviedo came in to finish the match. Chartrettois had a good opportunity to attack on the wing, but remembered their instructions to go for middle attacks. 30 minutes into the game, A. Alzina almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Chartrettois claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

Desportivo fans held their breath as J. Śliwczyński scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 59 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when D. Cortés tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper. 67 minutes in, Chartrettois's R. Łukaszek received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. W. Renselaar was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Desportivo's D. Zapparoli had to come off the bench. The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 73 minutes, R. Łukaszek broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. M. Blog made a great block, though. The visitors' J. Legroux was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 76 minutes. As the 80 minute mark approached, the Chartrettois coach decided it was time for a substitution. R. Maschlanka reluctantly made way for L. Amazonense on the pitch. Possession in this half belonged to Chartrettois, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

Desportivo's top performer was clearly K. Muuro. However, M. Blog made a disastrous appearance. Chartrettois's best player was A. Alzina. A. Bourdais was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 1.
