P. Erdész missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right.
Youngies players heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their wing attacks to the middle instead.
After a fine move down the middle
G. Lončar nearly gave the home side a goal after 4 minutes. However the finishing shot went just wide.
Youngies's
P. Erdész got himself booked for a foul.
Youngies's
D. Clemmensen left the field after 23 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
M. Glockshuber.
After 24 minutes belle's
L. Marchant limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
Youngies took the lead 27 minutes in, as
M. Ben Ouannes broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.
The visitors' equaliser seemed sure to come after 35 minutes, following a one on one situation around the left hand side of the goal area, but
F. Decomble got the best of it, blocking the shot from
L. Badea.
1 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Possession in this half belonged to Youngies, who controlled the ball 57 percent of the time.
Cheers filled the stadium as
G. Lončar broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Youngies.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, belle's
L. Badea was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes.
G. Colasanto was given a chance to change things around.
Youngies put in a good effort on the right, but
L. Válka saw his volley fly wide of the mark 72 minutes into the game.
Youngies increased the lead as
K. Ragot struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
After 80 minutes, belle switched
X. Dubois with
J. Merle, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
The bench was restless, and with 80 minutes passed belle's coach gave
M. Dourthe the opportunity the player had been hoping for.
O. Garcia reluctantly left the field.
Youngies claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.
M. Ben Ouannes performed admirably for Youngies.
M. Glockshuber on the other hand, had a terrible day.
belle's best player was

However,
G. Colasanto made a disastrous appearance.
