Mans 0 - 2 PLANRUP
(385992337)

25-08-2012 21.20
It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 11328 that came out to
LMSC Stadium.
Piermarco Scano was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Wolfgang Foller and
Elio Turco.
A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Mans.
Starters: Miciuk - Hédin, Besse, Delaitre, Gergaud - Dejean, Duriez, Joncour, Biteil - Dumain, Ben Neji.
PLANRUP tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
They fielded: Leseigneur - Guisse, Insaurraga, Bador, Boisset - Mousnier, Mannsfeldt, Sezgen, Peyron - Camus, Naki.
7 minutes into the game,
H. Naki was a hair's breadth away from giving PLANRUP the lead with a shot from over on the left. A prompt block by
D. Miciuk saved the home team that time.
It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why
N. Hédin found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork.
H. Naki had a good opportunity to give PLANRUP the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save.
PLANRUP had to make a substitution after 36 minutes.
H. Mannsfeldt limped off the field and was replaced by
B. Laurent.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 0.
PLANRUP claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 55 percent.
Mans made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
K. Biteil completely alone with keeper
X. Leseigneur, who made a spectacular block.
After 64 minutes, PLANRUP put themselves up 0 - 1, as
M. Mousnier finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot.
PLANRUP increased the lead to 0 - 2 as
J. Boisset scored from the penalty spot, putting the ball in near the top left corner.
The fierce heat made it important to save breath, and after a few swift runs
P. Bador found it hard to get back into position.
G. Besse charged down the left and looked sure to score for Mans 69 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide.
Good work by the PLANRUP defensive line after 70 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found
J. Boisset alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by PLANRUP, with 62 percent of the ball.
Most important Mans player was
H. Ben Neji.
However,
T. Delaitre made a disastrous appearance.
PLANRUP's top performer was clearly
N. Sezgen.
J. Boisset turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 0 - 2.
