Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 4226 at Dim06 Arena today. Sipke Daemen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Tiziano Severi and Richardt Donie. Dim06 started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Brun - Prioux, Cornier, David, Keryka - Coquelin, Bray, Pernin, Fouchet - Wague, Dubois.

Montrabe decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Lineup: 爍侖 (Shuolun) - Barbosa, Federico, Zerbini - Loury, Kliewer, Ponty, Amdi Nielsen, Rodskog - Clément, Ditz.

Underestimation of the opposition made Montrabe players perform way below their normal capacity. N. Ponty had a good try after 2 minutes, coming in on a fine move from the left, but the ball went wide. 15 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but V. Loury, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. É. Prioux of Dim06 received a yellow card after 19 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Montrabe's E. Barbosa got himself booked for a foul. 0 - 1 was the score with 23 minutes played, after E. Barbosa cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Montrabe. With the scoreboard showing that 33 minutes had been played, Montrabe nearly put themselves up another goal after P. Federico came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Montrabe had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

Montrabe were in the lead, even though they'd severely underestimated their opponents. The team looked slightly more willing to put in the necessary work as the second half started. 58 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 2 as E. Barbosa finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. It took several tries, but Dim06 managed to break through on the left after 65 minutes, getting the ball to O. Pernin who easily reduced the lead to make the score 1 - 2. With 66 minutes played, D. Clément nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. 78 minutes into the game, Montrabe were awarded a penalty and A. Zerbini was able to increase the visitors' lead to 1 - 3 rolling the ball in by the right post. Some fine movement on the left led to a Montrabe goal after 79 minutes, making it 1 - 4. G. Ditz was noted down as the scorer. The players of Montrabe now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Given a free kick close to the byline, Montrabe tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let D. Clément slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 1 - 5, 85 minutes into the game. Montrabe enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 63 percent of possession.

A. Dubois performed admirably for Dim06. However, T. David made a disastrous appearance. Most important Montrabe player was D. Clément. 何. 爍侖 (Shuolun) was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 5.
