Monkeys had a great opportunity to score following a counterattack after 33 minutes, but
M. Wexell's shot from the left sailed high over the bar.
After 39 minutes, Caerdydd sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
M. Ahn, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0.
It was 2 - 0 at the break.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Caerdydd, with 68 percent of the ball.
The home side's
F. Guilloux came close to extending the lead 59 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but

T. Xanthakos was called on to replace Monkeys's
M. Ivanovic after 73 minutes following a nasty collision.
Caerdydd claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.
