Aperta left the field after 80 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was U. Matos Sá. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, B. Bertilsson would have put Mirandês up another goal 84 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. The home crowd was not impressed when B. Bertilsson came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 85 minutes. Mirandês were now up 1 - 3. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Mirandês, with 51 percent of the ball.
