The 17280 spectators at FCpoetisa Arena were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Maurici Leme Ramos was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Edmundo Jardim and Georg Wohlkönig. FCpoetisa used their skill at pressing to cut off the attack angles of their opponents all over the field. SFC's T. Mansikka-aho gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 3 minutes with a superb strike from the right. The sun seemed to put Ş. Faris in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. 18 minutes into the game a free kick by S. Lengenfelder found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making SFC's lead 0 - 2. At this point, it was obvious that the players of SFC lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 21 minutes played, SFC put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was M. Theer. SFC's M. Theer was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 24 minutes. The visitors almost increased their lead after 26 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to SFC, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.

After 69 minutes, SFC's M. Theer burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 4. After 80 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave L. Boev a chance to increase the lead for SFC, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. P. Azevedo Martins came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over R. Pasquer but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. FCpoetisa's G. Künzler managed a superb strike from the left after 85 minutes that would have left goalkeeper J. Åhlhall without a chance, had it not hit the post. It wasn't a good day at all for B. de Hartog. His powerful style of play just didn't fit the bill on this warm day. After 87 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for C. Braunisch who increased SFC's lead to 0 - 6. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by SFC, with 59 percent of the ball.

G. Künzler performed admirably for FCpoetisa. S. Briones on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating SFC player was without a doubt M. Theer. However, J. Åhlhall made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 6.
