C. Gheorghe forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
With 30 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after
N. Manou came through the middle, but his kick went wide.
The score became 2 - 0 at 30 minutes into the game, when MeKaniKa were given a penalty which
E. Kalverss blasted straight down the middle giving the keeper no chance!
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
U. Runcis from MeKaniKa a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 35 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 36 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving
U. Andrade completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper.

The players of MeKaniKa now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.

C. Gheorghe broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
