previous 2/10 next 4/10  Jordy 0 - 4 SCTV (386292909)

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 19809 to Jordy Blue Team Arena. Andor Allewelt was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Jan-Willem Philippens and Joppe Dawance. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Jordy. The following players had been chosen: Kalliainen - Benhin, Fabiszewski, Hornemann - Rotaru, Abadín, Knöbel, Rijnveld, Lichtenfels - Moron, Hmeedat.

SCTV decided to use a 4-5-1 set up. The following players took the field: Schwer - Sombreireiro, Rabushka, Mangini, Glapa - Chyłaszek, Vargas, Azevedo, Kaczanowski, Sauvage - Mainis.

Jordy used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. SCTV's S. Mangini managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 5 minutes. 0 - 1. 39 minutes into the match, I. Vargas came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Halftime score was 0 - 1. SCTV enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

SCTV increased their lead after 52 minutes when M. Chyłaszek broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay. At this point, it was obvious that the players of SCTV lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. With 55 minutes played, SCTV put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was I. Vargas. The home crowd cheered when, after 65 minutes, I. Vargas's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, S. Moron got himself booked. The manager of Jordy was not happy. P. Sauvage of SCTV took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 76 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. The SCTV players could smell victory in the air. M. Mainis wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for G. Pomponio after 78 minutes. Content with how the game was proceeding, the SCTV coach let L. Duarte replace M. Chyłaszek after 82 minutes. W. Glapa became the new SCTV captain. The coach of SCTV was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 87 minutes, I. Mataloto came on for W. Glapa. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, G. Pomponio took over the role of being the SCTV captain. SCTV claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 52 percent.

The most dominating Jordy player was without a doubt Y. Hmeedat. T. Benhin turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important SCTV player was B. Kaczanowski. I. Mataloto was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
