Ölke was shown a yellow card after 34 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The player down was A. Gomes. The KM bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in KM's R. Flint increasing the lead to 2 - 0. It might be a while before the fans see KM's É. Goudard again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 37 minute mark. He was replaced by V. Hanßen. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by KM, with 63 percent of the ball.

Encouraged by their lead, after 46 minutes the KM coach asked R. Flint to change positions with V. Alvisi. Atrufius were desperate to get a goal back and pushed forward through the middle 48 minutes into the game. After a scramble in the box, the ball dropped to C. Martins, who smashed it home to make the score 2 - 1. The sun seemed to put V. Alvisi in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of KM to 3 - 1 as I. Poisson finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. R. Erbs hit the corner kick straight to the keeper, but it was mishandled, giving Atrufius's T. Forstorp an easy chance to knock it in for 3 - 2. KM solidified their lead at the 75 minute mark, as I. Marin dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 2. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave T. Forstorp from Atrufius a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 82 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! R. Flint of KM had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. E. Xavier came in to finish the match. Things were deteriorating for the away team as KM scored another to make it 5 - 2 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for I. Poisson after 84 minutes. Confident in their lead, KM's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. KM's I. Poisson saw his fine effort strike the top of the bar following some good work up the middle by his teammates after 85 minutes. KM had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

The most dominating KM player was without a doubt I. Marin. However, P. Largoet made a disastrous appearance. Most important Atrufius player was R. Erbs. M. Čaban was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 2.
