Wołczański's cross from the left flank was fumbled in front of the goal and easily dealt with by the opposition. J. Toren caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 17 minutes. This gave FRAGATA the 1 - 0 lead. 22 minutes in, DT Extreme's M. Jiménez Iniesta received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. There was concern in the stands when, at the 26 minute mark, DT Extreme's P. Urbansson hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch. M. Noromies should probably have put his team up another goal after 27 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by T. Gligan kept the visitors in the game. FRAGATA put themselves up 2 - 0 when O. Willems broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. By now, the players in FRAGATA felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. FRAGATA's C. Hernando was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 37 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 0. FRAGATA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 62 percent of possession.

FRAGATA increased the lead as M. Wołczański struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. FRAGATA solidified their lead at the 57 minute mark, as C. Hernando dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why H. Semmrich found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. Coming from the right, M. Noromies almost managed to score another goal for FRAGATA, but his header was tipped over the bar by the visitors' keeper. With 70 minutes played, the DT Extreme coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. S. Teglborg came on, M. Pescio had to leave the fray. After 75 minutes, DT Extreme switched M. Krog with T. Kurtela, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. C. Hernando remonstrated furiously with the referee after FRAGATA had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send him from the pitch. The FRAGATA captaincy was handed to D. Gagliardi. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, DT Extreme's A. Pèdre was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 85 minutes. E. Dimitriades was given a chance to change things around. DT Extreme's G. Mcnair was shown a yellow card after 88 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The pressing tactics used by DT Extreme were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. Possession in this half belonged to FRAGATA, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.
