12000 spectators had found their way to Estadio AndreSimek, despite the heavy rain. Lasse Kosonen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Francesco Bertocchi and Julien Lasserre. The wings were the focus of most of AndreSimek's attacks today. Briosa took the lead 18 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. K. Esterhazy was the scorer. After 19 minutes, Briosa's K. Welling burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. 20 minutes into the game a free kick by K. Esterhazy found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Briosa's lead 0 - 3. After 24 minutes Briosa's D. Mertz contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. With 29 minutes played, seemingly due to lack of experience, L. Lonfat needlessly tripped an opponent just outside the penalty area, but the free kick that followed didn't succeed. 30 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as K. Welling finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. By now, the players in Briosa felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. With 35 minutes gone, Briosa had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, L. Dias Correia did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. 0 - 4 was the halftime score. Briosa had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

The home side worked their way through the middle and almost got one back when J. Anttila tried to sneak the ball past the keeper. W. Patrono was too alert for that! K. Esterhazy came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over H. Schleucher but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. The home crowd cheered when, after 59 minutes, K. Welling's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. K. Welling received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 70 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Briosa fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. This third goal completed a hattrick for K. Welling. With 86 minutes played, the AndreSimek coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. S. Arbureanu came on, J. Anttila had to leave the fray. AndreSimek needed a fresh pair of legs on the field, and after 88 minutes N. Branco made way for A. Correia. After 88 minutes, AndreSimek switched A. Arrabal with N. Albalonga, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Briosa claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.

AndreSimek's top performer was clearly S. Arbureanu. G. Angerbauer was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Briosa player was without a doubt F. Oliveira Silva. D. Mertz on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 5.
