11085 fans braved the pouring rain at Ipamus Arena. Benjamin Stoltenberg was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Gerrit-Jan de Grande and Simion Iliescu. Ipamusfc tactics involved an interesting 2-4-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Fergus - Geadas, Mergulho - Orleanskiy, Eldar, Mira, Bagger Frandsen - Rachinha, Dahlström.

Muse started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Lineup: Paddle - Vaz Ferreira, Cavero, Chagas, Bourgeois - Yavçı, Klinckenberg, Claret, Briatico Vangosa - Santero, Willoughby.

Ipamusfc tried to focus their attacks down the middle. S. Rachinha was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace. With 22 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. N. Santero put the ball away for 0 - 1. The referee showed Muse's V. Briatico Vangosa the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. It was a bad day for the usually speedy J. Claret. The mud seemed to slow him down. After 28 minutes, V. Orleanskiy made a dash down the middle past the away team's defenders to score the goal that made it 1 - 1. The terraces were silenced after 29 minutes when Muse's C. Willoughby put the guests ahead 1 - 2, following an attack on the right. Ipamusfc's V. Mira got himself booked for a foul. 33 minutes into the game, Ipamusfc seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to weak. The visitors' N. Yavçı took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 35 minutes into the match. 1 - 3 for Muse. When V. Mira made yet another studs-first tackle after 36 minutes, the referee was obliged to book the Ipamusfc player for the second time, sending him off the pitch. 1 - 3 was the halftime score. Muse enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Ipamusfc had passable organisation. 69 minutes into the game, Ipamusfc seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a passable level of organisation. After 71 minutes, Muse were awarded a free kick. Rather than shooting straight at goal, the taker went for an indirect variant which seemed to take his team mates a bit by surprise. M. Cavero did attempt a finish, but from an awkward position, sending the ball into the away fans. L. Klinckenberg of Muse took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 80 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 1 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Muse lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 87 minutes into the game, Ipamusfc had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. With 87 minutes played, Muse's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to N. Santero he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 5. After 88 minutes, Muse's V. Briatico Vangosa burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 6. O. Mergulho challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 89 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. Muse had most of the ball, with 75 percent of possession.

Ipamusfc's top performer was clearly S. Rachinha. A. Bagger Frandsen was a disappointment, however. Muse's best player was C. Willoughby. M. Cavero turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
