Frias 3 - 1 Simão
(386359905)

11-08-2012 21.45
The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 29120 had shown up at
World Maos Stadium for the match.
Medas Karčauskas was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Armin Zitzenbacher and
Sergio Marzadri.
Frias tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Çimen - Mota, Găvruţă, Carreno - Berrens, Ødegård, Neshev, Rondanelli, Jesus Pinto - Stampone, Passo.
A 4-3-3 alignment was the formation of choice for Simão.
They fielded: Grant - Dorrestein, Adroguer, Matoso, 秉亮 (Bingliang) - Nerin, Casanova, Bernkastell - del Prado, Rensink, Uralevitch.
Today, Frias's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks.
The wings were the focus of most of Simão's attacks today.
N. Găvruţă caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 23 minutes. This gave Frias the 1 - 0 lead.
After 26 minutes, Frias sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached
L. Berrens, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 2 - 0.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Frias lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
D. Carreno received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 28 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
Attacking on the wings was the choice for Frias, and they were successfully passing the ball from the middle to the wings to attack.
Frias put in a good effort on the right, but
J. Rondanelli saw his volley fly wide of the mark 32 minutes into the game.
D. Neshev sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from
B. Mota after 38 minutes of play, making the score 3 - 0.
L. Berrens had a fantastic opportunity to put Frias up another goal 39 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
Halftime score was 3 - 0.
Frias had most of the ball, with 74 percent of possession.
With 57 minutes played, Frias's
J. Rondanelli almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
The away team improved the scoreline to 3 - 1, as
O. Rensink struck home, set up well by a play on the left 60 minutes into the match.
Frias's
J. Rondanelli had an excellent opportunity after 71 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
Players in Frias heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead.
O. Stampone could have put Frias up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 72 minutes.
Frias enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 72 percent of possession.
Most important Frias player was
O. Stampone.
On the other hand,
D. Carreno's play was disheartening.
Simão's best player was
Y. Uralevitch.
A. Casanova was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
