7028 punters turned up at
Mushroom Arena, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Lester Buckner was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Teodoro Bürlimann and
Daniel Schifferly.
Woodstock had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Lineup: Santarpia - Guincho, Carreño, Heiermann - Afonso, Taylor, Chichikov, Escobar, Aires - Aurélio, Machado.
SAOTODOSCOXOS tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination.
The following players had been chosen: Sromotnik - Peixoto Costa, Cabrelles, Nascimento, Saraiva - Ruella, da Rocha, Basto Rodrigues, Santos Anjos - Pinto Morais, Abreu.
The wings were the focus of most of SAOTODOSCOXOS's attacks today.
Woodstock's
J. Taylor left the field after 17 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
D. Gamble.
E. Santarpia became the new Woodstock captain.

M. Chichikov broke through on the left and put the 1 - 0 shot just beyond the reach of the outstretched keeper.

By now, the players in Woodstock felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
It might be a while before the fans see SAOTODOSCOXOS's
L. Abreu again, after he had to leave the field in great distress at the 38 minute mark. He was replaced by
S. Pitacho.
M. Chichikov should probably have put his team up another goal after 39 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by
E. Sromotnik kept the visitors in the game.
3 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Woodstock enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 68 percent of possession.
SAOTODOSCOXOS's
I. Peixoto Costa was able to reply, after 57 minutes, making the score 3 - 1 with a well struck penalty.

Woodstock managed to extend their lead to 4 - 1 when
M. Chichikov cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper.
J. Guincho had a fantastic opportunity to put Woodstock up another goal 77 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
After 78 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
C. Machado might have resulted in another goal for Woodstock. However,
E. Sromotnik made a spectacular save.
Woodstock claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.
Woodstock's top performer was clearly
R. Aurélio.
J. Guincho on the other hand, had a terrible day.
SAOTODOSCOXOS's best player was
Â. Pinto Morais.
However,
E. Sromotnik made a disastrous appearance.
The match ends 4 - 1.
