It had rained all day, but 20514 hardy fans still made it out to Nova Terra - Arenna. Håkan Mathiasson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Abel Valdivia and Lawrence Blackburn. It was an obvious ambition of Fofoe to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Chelas saw most attack opportunities on the wings. R. Mårtensson sailed high above the opponents as he headed in a corner kick from T. de Liever after 3 minutes of play, making the score 1 - 0. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Fofoe to 2 - 0 as L. Loureiro Ferreira finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. After 36 minutes, Fofoe's T. de Liever found the back of the goal with a beautiful free kick. 3 - 0. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Fofoe lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. F. Popovic of Chelas received a yellow card after 40 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. M. Guerra had a fantastic opportunity to put Fofoe up another goal 41 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. With 42 minutes played, Fofoe put themselves up 4 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to M. Guerra, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. Fofoe were determined to attack on the wing and their central attempts were constantly abandoned in favour of the wings. R. Mårtensson could have put Fofoe up one more, but he fired into the side netting after breaking free on the left after 44 minutes. It was 4 - 0 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Fofoe, who controlled the ball 73 percent of the time.

Fofoe's L. Loureiro Ferreira increased the lead to 5 - 0, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 60 minutes. G. Buizza unleashed a swerving effort from the right that the visitors' keeper did well to tip wide. Chelas's F. Gaeta got himself booked for a foul. The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit M. Serrano Molera just fine. R. Mårtensson wanted to play on, but the Fofoe coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 75 minutes into the game by S. Teixeira. The coach of Fofoe was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 78 minutes, B. Dobber came on for G. Buizza. Fofoe put in a good effort on the right, but B. Dobber saw his volley fly wide of the mark 79 minutes into the game. J. Urrea Palafox left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. T. Cavalleri was the replacement. B. Dobber should probably have put his team up another goal after 81 minutes, but some great goalkeeping by B. Hohenstaufen kept the visitors in the game. F. Popovic remonstrated furiously with the referee after Chelas had another decision go against them. The referee had no alternative but to show him another yellow card and send him from the pitch. Fofoe claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 74 percent.

Fofoe's top performer was clearly B. Dobber. R. Mladonyiczki was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Chelas player was without a doubt T. Teivas. A. Curvas turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 5 - 0.
