Clear skies welcomed the 5223 spectators who had made their way to LISBOA S.C Arena. Mattia Uldanck was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alfonso Girón and Marlon de Voest. SantoMf used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings. SantoMf's V. Correia Antunes was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - A. Pedro managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 0 - 1 after 28 minutes. With 30 minutes played, B. Azevedo nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. No matter how hard he tried, A. Matias just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 33 minutes. After 34 minutes SantoMf's A. Pedro contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. That LISBOA's B. Simões has the ability of doing what no one expects him to do was shown as he ran over an opposing defender, snatched the ball and passed to J. Morgado who hit it hard into the wide open goal after 38 minutes: 1 - 1! LISBOA had to make a substitution after 41 minutes. A. Sampayo limped off the field and was replaced by H. Ramos. 1 - 1 was the halftime score. LISBOA enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 51 percent of possession.

LISBOA's M. Pistola was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 58 minutes. The guests almost went up by a goal after 80 minutes when H. Moreira came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. 84 minutes into the match and the home team took a 2 - 1 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for LISBOA was A. Matias. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave V. Correia Antunes from SantoMf a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 85 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! LISBOA claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 56 percent.

LISBOA's best player was B. Simões. H. Ramos turned in a dismal performance, however. B. Azevedo performed admirably for SantoMf. However, H. Moreira made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 1.
