previous 8/10 next 10/10  btfly 5 - 1 TSE_Rakko (386935755)

48401 spectators arrived at Cocoon, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Richard Rix was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Nicola Sarcinelli and Curt Klöden. All of Kanto was shut down for the day, as fans of both clubs came to the derby. btfly tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. Starters: Mazzini - 田川 (Tagwa), Sciortino, Grigore - Penchev, Foquet, Ogura, ten Hove, 山本 (Yamamoto) - Radziemski, Kálmán.

TSE_Rakko decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Okakura - Herrler, Gallo, Vanelli Coralli - Ledermacher, Manchego, Mozina, Brüngger, Kampolis - Galdocha, Crepanes.

F. Ogura gave btfly the lead as he successfully challenged the guests' central defenders, then slotted the ball into the bottom corner, giving the keeper no chance. 1 - 0 The visitors kept the pressure on to tie the game when, after 3 minutes, D. Ledermacher broke through the centre and found himself alone with the keeper. G. Mazzini made a great block, though. With 14 minutes played, btfly put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to J. Radziemski, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The referee showed TSE_Rakko's D. Ledermacher the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 2 - 0 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to btfly, who controlled the ball 52 percent of the time.

TSE_Rakko reduced the deficit to 2 - 1 with a penalty placed perfectly beside the left post by L. Gallo. 61 minutes in, btfly's T. ten Hove received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. btfly managed to extend their lead to 3 - 1 when D. Penchev cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. Confident in their lead, btfly's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. The visitors got a chance to pulling one back after 66 minutes, due to a defensive blunder leaving V. Vanelli Coralli completely unmarked. His strike was pathetic though, easy prey for the home side's keeper. 78 minutes into the match, btfly's D. Penchev demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to T. Kálmán who chipped it in for 4 - 1. btfly's B. Grigore increased the lead to 5 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 80 minutes. btfly enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

Most important btfly player was T. Kálmán. On the other hand, 政. 山本 (Yamamoto)'s play was disheartening. L. Gallo performed admirably for TSE_Rakko. B. Herrler was a disappointment, however. The match ends 5 - 1.
