Shi Tong of Batavia who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 1 - 3. The home crowd cheered when, after 26 minutes, T. Răută's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Halftime score was 1 - 3. Batavia enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 72 percent of possession.

The visitors' T. Răută took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 49 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Batavia. 60 minutes into the game, Batavia worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. E. Zeppegno received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 77 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 5. The Batavia fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. After this, you could see that the players of Batavia were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. After 86 minutes Edbe tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, D. Bohrenkämper's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Batavia had most of the ball, with 70 percent of possession.
