The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 60050 had shown up at
Canuckoz FC Arena for the match.

P. Governini a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.

O. Muntz almost extended the lead, but his shot from the left glanced off the top of the bar to fall behind the net.
After 75 minutes, TFC switched
G. Åhstål with
R. Benjamin, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch.
A great save by keeper
R. Benjamin after 77 minutes kept the visitors in the game after
Y. Zaufall struck from the left with a real cannonball.
With 78 minutes played, the TFC coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around.

B. Herbord had to leave the fray.
As the game started to slip away for TFC, the manager decided to change the tactical approach.
The TFC coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy.
