A brilliantly sunny day had enticed a crowd of 36661 to Barad-dur Arena. David Hermansson was the appointed referee. Mordor decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. Starters: Ljubenović - Limanowski, Brakenhoff, Muzard - Costa, Engler, Noë, Salinas Rojas, MacGlashan - Kwitek, Quertrift.

Untouchables tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. The following players took the field: Azevedo - Tărăcilă, Hald, Domagała - Obrenović, Gennatos, Pazes, Fattuhi - Morley, Kennerley, Linehan.

Engler made a successful breakthrough on the left after 29 minutes and should have levelled the score, but instead he clipped it over the bar. The referee showed Mordor's M. Costa the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. T. Linehan's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Untouchables, he bravely continued in the match. With 41 minutes played, after a good run down the left, J. Engler went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. Halftime score was 0 - 1. Mordor enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 65 percent of possession.

After 52 minutes, Mordor's T. Kwitek fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! K. Hald found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. J. Engler of Mordor received a yellow card after 88 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Mordor claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 67 percent.

Most important Mordor player was B. Noë. On the other hand, V. Ljubenović's play was disheartening. The most dominating Untouchables player was without a doubt N. Pazes. R. Fattuhi turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
