Clear skies welcomed the 12000 spectators who had made their way to

They fielded: Walker - Washbrook, North, Weetra, Maxfield - Tkautz, James, Ntau, Climo - Harwood, Freeman.
C. Washbrook delivered a good free kick from an excellent position 10 minutes into the game, but luck wasn't on metosko54's side this time and the ball went wide.
After 25 minutes, the visitors nearly went up a goal, but
C. Washbrook's free kick hit the crossbar.
Good work by the Motown defensive line after 28 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found
K. Yates alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide.
Motown's
K. Yates was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 34 minutes.
metosko54 had to make a substitution after 35 minutes.
C. Weetra limped off the field and was replaced by
B. Hopoate.
metosko54's
B. Hopoate could have put the guests one up after 36 minutes after chasing a through ball from the right, but
K. Tzitzikas was as fast as a snake, grabbing the ball from under his nose.
It was 0 - 0 at the break.
Motown enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.
Some great play up the middle by Motown led to a chance for
L. Tolson to score after 58 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar.
65 minutes into the game,
H. Harwood almost gave the visitors the lead, as he clipped a delicate lob over the keeper, but the ball glanced harmlessly off the crossbar.
73 minutes in, Motown's
L. Sorrenti received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
At 74 minutes played,
H. Edgley came in from the right with the intention of giving Motown the lead, but his rocket of a shot rattled the crossbar.
The referee showed metosko54's
T. James the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Motown's
H. Edgley somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
L. Tolson, who struck for 1 - 0.
G. Gaze was called on to replace metosko54's
H. Harwood after 79 minutes following a nasty collision.
H. Edgley increased the lead for Motown to 2 - 0, getting a head onto a hooked ball from the right. The ball looked to have taken a deflection on the way in, but he's claiming it!
Motown claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.
Motown's top performer was clearly
K. Yates.
L. Tolson turned in a dismal performance, however.
The most dominating metosko54 player was without a doubt
S. Maxfield.
G. Gaze on the other hand, had a terrible day.
