The 12000 spectators at Snipers Shooters Arana were in for an afternoon of sunshine. Hans Gutzwiler was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Ricardo Cordero and José Ferro. Shooters had chosen a strategic 2-5-2 formation. Starters: Khairul Zaman Syafii - Taufiq Arrahman, Zahid - Seip, Ameen, Syafii, Mohd Ashraf, Kong Wai - Siong Aik, Bangara.

A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Exiles93. The following players took the field: Putra - Ze Yao, Walid, Osterman, Feng Han - Wadihan Hanafi, Mohd Syamsuddin, Mohd Irzani, Iskandar - Syadi, Abd Rahim Jamaluddin.

T. Walid's technique was perfect on this sunny day and led to some breathtaking tricks that bamboozled the defence. 0 - 1 was the score with 17 minutes played, after M. Mohd Irzani cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Exiles93. No matter how hard he tried, A. Syafii just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 37 minutes. After 41 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as Shooters found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to passable. It was 0 - 1 at the break. Possession in this half belonged to Exiles93, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

The Shooters players spent the break getting a rerun of the team's tactical organisation and regained a solid organisation when the game started again. After 64 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for C. Mohd Syamsuddin who increased Exiles93's lead to 0 - 2. 71 minutes in, Shooters appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only inadequate. K. Mohd Ashraf found it hard to catch his breath today in the stifling heat. 85 minutes into the game, Shooters had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to inadequate. The home team's supporters got excited again when L. Siong Aik broke through the visitors' central defence and caught their keeper off guard, making it 1 - 2. 87 minutes into the match, C. Mohd Syamsuddin came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Shooters, but L. Siong Aik's shot went over the bar. After 89 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by Exiles93 on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by C. Mohd Syamsuddin to make it 1 - 3. A. Syafii almost reduced the deficit, having drawn the entire left side defence away, but the shot went straight into the arms of the goalkeeper. Exiles93's T. Walid was shown a yellow card after 89 minutes for slicing down an opponent. C. Kong Wai of Shooters had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. Y. Tze Chun came in to finish the match. F. Iskandar came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over M. Khairul Zaman Syafii but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

Shooters's best player was K. Bangara. K. Mohd Ashraf on the other hand, had a terrible day. Exiles93's top performer was clearly K. Syadi. J. Putra turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 3.
