Ansari burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. The home keeper was stunned 23 minutes into the match when he misjudged the free kick by A. Burhan and dived in the wrong direction. The visitors increased the lead to 0 - 3. After 29 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave A. Burhan a chance to increase the lead for Kandahar, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 4. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Kandahar lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to Kandahar, who controlled the ball 62 percent of the time.

With 47 minutes played, Kandahar put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was S. Iqbal. A. Ansari of Kandahar seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 6 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by A. Burhan. Tiger's F. Qamar was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 60 minutes. 68 minutes into the match, F. Tehsin came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. A. Burhan was, after 77 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper U. Nasir made the save. A. Burhan of Kandahar took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 78 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 7. That made three goals for A. Burhan and he was marked down for the hat trick. Kandahar had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

Tiger's top performer was clearly A. Khattak. On the other hand, U. Nasir's play was disheartening. H. Zaidi performed admirably for Kandahar. A. Casati turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
