51259 fans braved the pouring rain at Unreal Stadium. Tayfun Asaf was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Oliver Stroissing and Roman Hruby. Spectre had chosen a strategic 4-5-1 formation. Starters: Davletaliev - Babazhanov, Teresa, Ponomarev, Zúñiga - Maskevich, Kazin, Alipbayev, Adayuly, Zhulanov - Risser.

Conkastador decided to use a 3-5-2 set up. They fielded: Barata - Sáez Sánchez, Andersson, Gorostidi - Virkkunen, Pogrzeba, Shalnov, Rakhmetov, Ávila - Rotondo, Moreno Arteaga.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Spectre. M. Kazin had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Conkastador's U. Rotondo after 14 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. With 18 minutes gone, Conkastador had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, F. Pogrzeba did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Kazin should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting Conkastador a goal with 24 minutes of the match played. J. Virkkunen of Conkastador took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 29 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. It was a bad day for the usually speedy E. Maskevich. The mud seemed to slow him down. Spectre were pushed back, and had many dangerous counterattacks. An impressive one came 37 minutes into the match, but E. Maskevich narrowly missed the free kick attempt that was awarded as a result of a foul. A. Zhulanov didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. 39 minutes into the game, Conkastador worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The referee showed Conkastador's E. Ávila the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Conkastador enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 70 percent of possession.

The bench was restless, and with 46 minutes passed Spectre's coach gave V. Mashentsev the opportunity the player had been hoping for. A. Zhulanov reluctantly left the field. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, Spectre's M. Kazin was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 46 minutes. N. Raevskiy was given a chance to change things around. After 51 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed J. Virkkunen to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Conkastador lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After a short break after 56 minutes, Conkastador seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. After 70 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for V. Shalnov who increased Conkastador's lead to 0 - 4. Conkastador came close to extending their lead as F. Pogrzeba delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 72 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. V. Shalnov increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. After 75 minutes, Spectre switched P. Risser with M. Hermon, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. Conkastador claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 66 percent.

Most important Spectre player was N. Raevskiy. A. Davletaliev was a disappointment, however. V. Shalnov performed admirably for Conkastador. However, T. Barata made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 5.
