Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 78940 to New Trafford. Giuseppe Panconesi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paul Emile Rigambert and Totis Paraschakis. Hirschy received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 38 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The North-West fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, North-West's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. 40 minutes into the match, the speedy F. Manolache easily outpaced J. Eiseman, chipped the keeper and made the score 1 - 4. After 41 minutes, Morrischester's B. Gürtler fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! 1 - 4 was the score after the first half. North-West claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

A. Nigah got a fingertip on M. Penkovskiy's shot from the left 75 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Good work by the Morrischester defensive line after 76 minutes produced a good counterattack chance, which cut elegantly down the middle of the pitch and found F. Manolache alone in front of the goal, but his shot whistled just wide. F. Artaza left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 80 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. B. Leng was the replacement. Content with how the game was proceeding, the North-West coach let A. Nurse replace K. Mbangwa after 85 minutes. North-West had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

Morrischester's best player was F. Manolache. However, G. Weltman made a disastrous appearance. The most dominating North-West player was without a doubt R. Płoszczyca. On the other hand, A. Nurse's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 4.
