The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 51000 had shown up at Pimp Arena for the match. Nigel Kullar was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Walter Way and Ari Jensen. Macayee tactics involved an interesting 3-4-3 combination. They fielded: Văn Suôl - Angiozzi, Buron, Indlekofer - Zitnik, Bergmann, Pratas, Durand - Sgariglia, Ibargüén, Holban.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Irasiady. The following players took the field: Blangé - Argentesi, García, Chamier-Gliszczyński - Dźbik, Dierckens, De Kee, Kromhout, Sahllund - Vermus, Dannen.

Irasiady saw most attack opportunities on the wings. R. Argentesi caused mayhem in his own defensive line with some mad dribbles within his own penalty zone, but Macayee's R. Zitnik's shot went just wide. Macayee's R. Zitnik was dominating his wing and kept sending fine balls into the opposition's box - G. Sgariglia managed to volley one of them into the net to make it 1 - 0 after 13 minutes. 25 minutes into the game, Macayee seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a inadequate level of organisation. Coming through the middle R. Kromhout almost scored the equaliser for Irasiady after 28 minutes, but V. Văn Suôl made an excellent save, tipping the awkwardly curled shot past the post. It was a fine day for L. Sahllund on his wing, his cross pass to H. Dźbik was especially delicate 29 minutes into the game, but the keeper saved. It was 1 - 0 at the break. Irasiady claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 64 percent.

A review of the gameplan helped Macayee get back to a solid organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. Irasiady tied it all up, 54 minutes in, after a spectacular goal by R. Argentesi, who miraculously broke through the home side's central defence, making it 1 - 1. As the 60 minute mark approached, the Irasiady coach decided it was time for a substitution. J. García reluctantly made way for S. Yehudai on the pitch. 66 minutes in, Macayee appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. Irasiady's S. Vermus managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 74 minutes. 1 - 2. After 74 minutes, Macayee switched B. Buron with F. Porta, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. A drive down the left side allowed J. Dannen to get in close and score another goal for Irasiady after 75 minutes, taking the score to 1 - 3. L. Sahllund received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 79 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 4. The Irasiady fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Irasiady increased their lead after 81 minutes when J. Dannen broke through on the right, upping the score to 1 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. Irasiady's G. Chamier-Gliszczyński was shown a yellow card after 83 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Irasiady had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

L. Ibargüén performed admirably for Macayee. F. Porta turned in a dismal performance, however. Irasiady's top performer was clearly E. De Kee. However, G. Blangé made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 1 - 5.
