Today, GRIZZLIES's strategy involved concentrating on the flanks for their attacks. A. Gabriel almost seemed to dance around A. Morvan, his movements were so smooth. Unfortunately for Ostrów, his finish ended up on the wrong side of the post. D. Sierkowski had a good opportunity to give GRIZZLIES the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. Ostrów had to make a substitution after 22 minutes. T. Arits limped off the field and was replaced by C. Răduţ. Many thought G. Buehler ought to have been awarded a penalty 29 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around E. De Nisco after a determined run through the middle. 30 minutes in, Ostrów's M. Fajardo received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. M. Gnieciak of GRIZZLIES seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 0 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by E. Pirini. With 39 minutes played, after a good run down the left, G. Buehler went down looking for a penalty after a challenge from the visitors' right fullback, but the referee waved play on, and later warned him for diving. M. Wylężek's lack of experience almost gave Ostrów a goal after 40 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. Ostrów's A. Gabriel put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 1 - 1 with 41 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. It was 1 - 1 at the break. Ostrów enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 64 percent of possession.

C. Răduţ of Ostrów received a yellow card after 60 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. GRIZZLIES's D. Sierkowski had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 61 minutes having been played. Ł. Szukalski was the replacement. The sun seemed to put G. Buehler in a great mood, and he showed off his technical skills all match long. 77 minutes into the match and the home team took a 2 - 1 lead after breaking through on the left. The scorer for Ostrów was M. Fajardo. M. Gnieciak of GRIZZLIES was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Ostrów's Ó. Garrinaga swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. GRIZZLIES's D. Howe left the field after 80 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was Ł. Birkholc. Ostrów put themselves up 3 - 1 when A. Galeas broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. The players of Ostrów now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ostrów, with 69 percent of the ball.
