Nærland has acquired a talent for predicting the movements of the opposing defence over the years and this almost resulted in a goal 60 minutes into the match. It took several tries, but Tatanki managed to break through on the left after 66 minutes, getting the ball to L. Rybus who easily reduced the lead to make the score 2 - 3. It was obvious that PGFC had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. B. Stančević increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 2 - 4. Tatanki's T. Zaugg got himself booked for a foul. Tatanki's T. Zaugg got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 3 - 4. H. Venn of Tatanki was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Tatanki, with 53 percent of the ball.
