Borowik came in from the right after 23 minutes and put the ball in the net to level the score at 2 - 2. A foul after 27 minutes resulted in a free kick. P. Borowik cannonballed it, giving the home team the lead 3 - 2. 3 - 2 was the halftime score. Ciutludzie had most of the ball, with 63 percent of possession.

61 minutes in, Chorzów's V. Vúlkov received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Ciutludzie put in a good effort on the right, but G.
