Some great play up the middle by Makowianka led to a chance for P. Mostowski to score after 36 minutes, but the shot hit the crossbar. After 38 minutes Makowianka tried to exploit their counterattacking skills, unfortunately, P. Mostowski's shot sailed wide after his break down the right. Halftime score was 0 - 0. Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Squad was able to get his message across, and raised Squad's organisation to passable. Makowianka had a good opportunity to take the lead as M. Bręczewski came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of D. Skiba. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave R. Teszner from Squad a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 72 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Makowianka were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally. Making his way up the middle 81 minutes into the match, R. Świdwa almost managed to squeeze a goal past the visitors' keeper, but the alert D. Skiba blocked it to keep the score level. D. Kicia of Squad was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
