Tigers were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. The most controversial moment of the game was likely the penalty given after 18 minutes. budquh's D. Aluigi kept his concentration, despite the upset crowd, and calmly put the ball past the keeper to make the score 0 - 1. Tigers's A. Butez had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 29 minutes having been played. M. Mané was the replacement. budquh's A. Erven placed the ball right at his teammate's feet after a corner, but E. Andó couldn't finish. After 35 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave S. Aslaxas a chance to increase the lead for budquh, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 2. It was a hot and sunny day, and several players seemed worn out. Maybe this was why L. Perůtka found an unusual amount of space for his snappy footwork. With a penalty awarded after 39 minutes, Tigers's M. Boldt placed the ball low and to the keeper's right, impossible to block. 1 - 2. Tigers had a good opportunity to attack in the middle, but remembered their instructions to focus on wing attacks instead. Tigers's H. Iversen put his head to a well placed ball, lifted in from the left, and scored to make the score 2 - 2 with 40 minutes showing on the scoreboard clock. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 41 minutes into the match, and R. Schöpfer wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 2 - 3 for the visitors. M. Cardona of Tigers received a yellow card after 44 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Halftime score was 2 - 3. budquh had most of the ball, with 56 percent of possession.

S. Aslaxas received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 54 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 4. The budquh fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. budquh increased their lead after 55 minutes when S. Aslaxas broke through on the right, upping the score to 2 - 5, much to the home crowd's dismay. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for S. Aslaxas. The players of budquh now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The head of J. Belobrad connected with a corner kick after 66 minutes, and the ball ended up with H. Larkkonen of budquh who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 2 - 6. The visitors added to their lead 72 minutes into the game, after a sensational penalty kick by budquh's D. Aluigi slid just past the home keeper. 2 - 7. 76 minutes into the game Tigers broke through on the left wing and K. Saracen managed to reduce the lead to 3 - 7. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by budquh, with 58 percent of the ball.

H. Iversen performed admirably for Tigers. M. Mané turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important budquh player was J. Belobrad. However, D. van Bronckhorst made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 7.
