29-07-2012 09.00
26895 punters turned up at
GREEN HELL ARENA, and despite threatening clouds on the horizon, no rain came.
Attila Hajszán was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Lennard Gwinner and
Joakim Kihllind.
A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for TYCHY.
They fielded: Briseño - Volkerak, Ploner, Neuhoff - San Sebastián, Murenu, Marcu, Mathiasson, Aladrén - Mühlroth, Dragalina.
JUVE FC decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Menderes - Larramendi, Dobokay, Krystecki - Hüttner, Gamboa, Kubot, Alderlieste, Santa Fé - Zmarzły, Felcenloben.
JUVE FC saw most attack opportunities on the wings.
They were singing the praises of
A. Mathiasson 7 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to TYCHY.
TYCHY's
A. Aladrén had an excellent opportunity after 9 minutes, shooting after receiving a pass from the right hand side, but he missed the goal by miles!
JUVE FC's
O. Santa Fé showed his experience after 10 minutes, as he expertly set himself up to take advantage of a rebound off the crossbar, but his shot was tipped harmlessly out of the way.
24 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
L. Mühlroth broke through, making the score 2 - 0 for TYCHY.
P. Marcu could have increased the lead after 31 minutes, but his shot hit the post after a nice combination in the middle of the park.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in TYCHY's
A. Mathiasson increasing the lead to 3 - 0.
After this, you could see that the players of TYCHY were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
It was 3 - 0 at the break.
Possession in this half belonged to TYCHY, who controlled the ball 64 percent of the time.
The JUVE FC players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team.
M. Briseño left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead.
Ö. Çevik was the replacement.
As the captain was no longer on the pitch,
P. Marcu took over the role of being the TYCHY captain.
The JUVE FC coach was desperate to reverse his team's fortunes in the game, and ordered his team to change strategy.
Although the whole team were struggling to impress, JUVE FC's
J. Gamboa was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 70 minutes.
A. Copija was given a chance to change things around.
B. Krystecki behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 78 minutes as he gave the ball away to
S. San Sebastián. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
After 80 minutes, a well-worked counterattack by JUVE FC on the right presented an easy opportunity in front of the goal that was duly converted by
O. Santa Fé to make it 3 - 1.
TYCHY enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 67 percent of possession.
Most important TYCHY player was
L. Mühlroth.
On the other hand,
Ö. Çevik's play was disheartening.
JUVE FC's best player was
P. Zmarzły.
A. Copija turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 3 - 1.
